广州市李坑生活垃圾焚烧发电厂是广州市第一座垃圾焚烧发电厂，位于广州市白云区太和镇永兴村，距市中心约23公里，具有便利的交通条件，主要处理荔湾、越秀区的生活垃圾。

　　该厂由广州市政府投资兴建，引进国际先进焚烧技术和关键设备来处理城市垃圾，日处理能力1040吨；是国内第一个采用中温次高压参数的焚烧发电厂，蒸汽参数为450摄氏度、6.5MP，发电能力约21兆瓦，比目前国内普遍采用的中温中压厂提高发电量20%以上；焚烧过程采用当前世界上先进的自动化控制系统，对生产进行全过程控制。采用以微机为基础的集散型控制系统（DCS）和PLC进行控制，从而组合成一套完整的控制系统，完全实现全自动与各步骤的最优化控制，达到安全可靠、经济有效地运行。同时监控和记录污染物排放状况，使空气污染程度达到最低，满足不断提高的环境保护要求。

■Li Keng Garbage Incineration Power Plant

　　Dealing mainly with municipal solid waste (MSW) from Liwan and Yuexiu districts, Li Keng Garbage Incineration Power Plant, the first of its kind in Guangzhou, is situated at Yongxing Village, Taihe Town, Baiyun District, some 23 kilometers from the downtown Guangzhou with convenient transportation.

　　Funded by Guangzhou municipal government and adopting internationally advanced incineration technology and equipment, the plant is able to incinerate 1,040 tons of domestic waste per day. It is the first incineration power plant in China to use sub-high pressure moderated temperature boiler, with a steam parameter of 450 Celsius, 6.5MP resulting in a power generating capacity of 21 megawatts, 20% higher than any other plants of its kind in China. The plant adopts advanced automatic control system to monitor the whole incinerating process. With computerized DCS and PLC, the system can operate in a safe and effective way. At the same time, it can monitor and record the emission of pollutants to reduce air pollution to the lowest level and to satisfy the need of environment protection.
